Where did it go?

For a while I've been looking at pictures of hair wondering what I would look like. My final inspiration to actually try cutting my hair was when the family (that's left) went and saw Amber, Sam, Elli, and Scott in Idaho. I looked at cute little Elli's hair and decided I wanted to finally try my hair short!
                                                   Me before the cut!
Oh SNAP! Where did my hair go?!

Doesn't it remind you of Ann? It does to me!

Valentine's Day

I know I haven't been the blogger of the year, but since Valentine's Day was yesterday I have to say something.
Do you remember Jensen from Homecoming? Well, in November he asked me to a date, but he told me "we were only chaperoning his friend". I had to tell him that I couldn't "date", I wasn't 16 yet and he had to wait till May 7. Since then we've had a new semester and I haven't had any classes with him. I thought he would just forget about me, but no. Valentine's Day comes and guess what I get.....

That's right, I get some chocolate roses. HELP ME!!!

Not Mine

This beautiful hat you see on my head in not mine, but Sarah Bushell's. On Doughnut night I saw this in her room and "asked" if I could borrow it. (I really asked if I could steal it and she said yes as she was talking to a boy. Her mind wasn't on me.) I wore it all day at school!!

The Beginning

Your wildest dreams have come true!! I have finally started a blog! Please hold back the applause, you embarrass me. The truth is that I have a lot to say all of a sudden. Let me start at the beginning...

It was a Saturday night, John and Dad were at a football game and left mother and I alone. We had decided that we wanted to eat out, so we went to Rumbi's. By the time we arrived home it was 8:30 and time to take out the wash and put it in the dryer. Mother went downstairs and then the doorbell rang. A girl stood there with a pizza in her hands. "Hi", said the girl, "are you Maren?" "Yes, I am," I replied, that's when she gave me the pizza and left. Yes, your right, when I opened the pizza box and looked underneath the pizza there was a note. "Maren will you PIZZA go to Homecoming with me? -Jensen Enlow" Oh crap, I'm not sixteen! I had to call him and tell him that after May 7th I would LOVE to go on a date with him. I was really sad, but it had to be done.

This week on Homecoming night, Makailee and I helped the Ford's (people in my ward) take down a wedding they had set up. Afterwards we watched the movie "Flushed Away". In the middle of the movie the door bell rang and my mother answered it. When she closed the door she told me to pause the movie and see what she had in her hand, and this was it....

A napkin rose with a Symphony bar... Heartbreaking right?! Well tonight I have made sugar cookies with the intent of giving them to him.

I hope all my other blogs are just a good!
